I was a bit disappointed on visiting this restaurant after the praise that I had read about it. The interior was cold although the swag fabric hanging between the tables was romantic, altough I felt this was in a effort to squeeze more tables in. The food was just alright. Perfectly fine but nothing special.

Really good food, unusual menu for an indian eg fish, lamb shank, egg noodles etc. Staff and owner lovely, friendly. Portions just right, not too much that feel sick. very lively on a sat night, good craic. Will definately go back.

a fabulous dining experience, unlike any other indian in belfast - better! NB previous reviewer - poppadoms and dips are available in the menu under starters!!!! i am a regular here and would like to say that the food is soooo tasty, and lolita is not an old fashioned traditional indian, its a modern take, with a gorgeuos decor inside. The staff are very friendly and jokey, except when its so busy, but thats understandable! love it!

A poor indian Restuarant. I have been twice, after the first occassion I was reluctant to return but was convinced my poor intitial experience was a one off, unfortunately it wasn't. Staff on both occassions were not engaging, courteous or nice to deal with. All seemed very rushed and uncomfortable. On both occassions complimentary poppadums and dips were not given, on the second occassion I mentioned this to a waiter who basically blanked this. I noticed poppodums and dips seemed to be for selective tables, either larger groups or regulars? As for the food, I found it very bland! My chicken Jalfrezi and Tikka were more like soup, very watered down sauces and distinct lack of meat, portions on a whole were ridculously small. Infact on my last occassion, I left still hungry and had to go to central below for a more substantial and favoursome bite to eat. Overall the worst Indian dinning experience I have had!

Having read the other reviews I can identify with both the good and the bad.
On my first visit it was indeed my opinion that the sauce along with my Korma was very thin. Subsequent visits have confirmed this to be the case, but this has not spoilt my visits to much.
The food has been excellent and service is quite good. I think some of the staff could do with an extra bit of training but they are pleasant and helpfull.
The decor is pleasing and the owner is usually on hand so I intend to take up my issues next time I visit.
Yes, I will be back!
