Pair lose compensation battle

A Sinn Fein MLA and a journalist whose murder convictions were quashed have lost their appeal against being denied compensation.
Judges ruled that Raymond McCartney and Eamonn MacDermott failed to meet the tests for any pay-out to be made.
Both men were ordered to pay the costs of bringing the latest legal challenge.
