Pirates Adventure Golf
By Tessa Batacharia
For all of us that are waiting to find the inner Tiger Woods in us, there’s new hope with the opening of Belfast’s first Pirates Adventure mini golf course.
The course has 36 holes for you to practice your best swings and improve your handicap. The landscaped courses provide the perfect little solace for anyone who sees traipsing around on a full course as a waste of time and far too much exercise. The mini Pirates Adventure course is doable whatever your age or fitness level. Blackbeards Adventure and the Captains Challenge offer the opportunity to test your skill and win ‘Golden Doubloons’ in exchange for free games.
If you really think that your golfing skills should be kept indoors and out of the public eye, there is ‘night play’ on the floodlit courses available.
The adventure begins with waterfalls, fountains and everything pirate including a 20 foot fully rigged pirate schooner, so even if golf isn’t your thing you’ll still be able to enjoy the day visually while your kids get in their practice in time for 2012.
