This is probably more of a historical monument then it is a bar. But it is in fact Belfast’s oldest family run bars, and hats off to them for upholding such a true traditional spirit.
Though it has undergone a sprightly renovation, its traditional charms still surfaces. The Lavery revels in the pleasantries of revellers and staff alike…Drink, dance and be merry, pretty much sums up this golden oldie.

Easily one of the most interesting bars in Belfast. A wild array of bars, rooms, and corridors makes this three-bars-in-one venue a great night out. The crowd are an eclectic mix from all corners of Belfast, who have descended upon Lavery’s for good beer, easy-going surroundings and –above all else- great Craic.
Try the back bar for the latest up and coming live bands most nights, or just ‘chillax’ throughout the rest of the place soaking up the atmosphere, chatting with mates or watching sport. Another proper pub with minimal frills and no pretension.
Love Laverys, Brilliant! Great Atmosphere. And the Pizza in there is lovely.
